A Reddit user under the pseudonym lem0n-lacroix decided to ask the official HeR Interactive Instagram page about the company's future developments and the possibility of running old games on the macOS operating system.

The page administrator replied that the new part will have certain improvements, but at the same time it is similar to the game Midnight in Salem.

It also became known that future games will definitely be compatible with Mac, but the developers do not plan to re-release old releases on this platform in the near future.

It is worth noting that at the moment it is not known what exactly and to what extent will be improved in the upcoming part, but HeR Interactive has repeatedly confirmed its development.

There is a possibility that the Nancy Drew game #34 (#ND34) will be names as "Mystery of the Seven Keys".

According to the trademark extract, HeR Interactive acquired the name on October 12, 2021.

The company has registered a trademark in the category "downloadable video and computer games". This was reported by @ChazVsJazz on Reddit.

The Screenshot From The 34th Nancy Drew Game? What?! 👀

This is how our team and other fans of the game react to any news. And now we'll tell you where the screenshot is from.

Today one of Clue Crew — Carter (@thenancydrewtimes) — with the help of other fans (Laura Gabrie and others) has become a bit of a hacker. They decided to look at the web code of the email we talked about earlier.

🗝 In the letter, they found a file called IsThisARenderFromGame34Maybe.png.
🗝 A password-protected Easter page was found on the site.
🗝 We got anagrams from letters and guessed them: HAUNTED, IMPOSTER.
🗝 In the pictures on the page, we found the word Tuesday (should we wait for something today?).

And we downloaded that render. Look: there are entertaining paintings on the wall with images from previous games. Is this really a screenshot from the game?

In general, nothing is clear yet, there are a lot of mysteries :) In general, this quest to find clues — the keys to the teaser itself somehow refers to the name "Mystery of the Seven Keys".

Today HeR Interactive posted a short video compilation about cooking from various old games, but with an interesting audio sequence — the voice acting of various #ND34 characters. For example, you can hear the phrase like “Gonna play a mix maid for a while, are you?” or “Time to mix it up!”

As the description of the video, HeR Interactive once again left another hidden message: “which nAncy dRew cookIng puzzle do you like To plAy BeSt? 😋” From the uppercase letters you can make the word "BARISTA". This directly indicates that just like in Midnight in Salem we will be able to prepare not herbs, but coffee for visitors to the library cafe.

It can also be noted that Nancy Drew again voices by Brittany Cox, as in the 33rd game.

We previously guessed that she'll come back in the new game, but now it was officially confirmed [otherwise our team could be very sad, because we love how Brittany is voicing Nancy Drew — editor's note]

In the video, Brittany Cox said that she is so exited to be back in the studio recording the newest Nancy Drew mystery game and that this week celebrating 93rd birthday of Nancy Drew character and it's even more special to be recording for a new case. Also, she repeated the puzzle text that this mystery is filled with friends all is new and she'd love to tell us more, but it's “Top Secret.”

The fans were right, and the new Nancy Drew birthday video really came out on a specialty schedule! SPOILER: there is still NO title or trailer from the new game. However, we got more interesting details!

At the beginning of the video, Brittany Cox revealed that they are recording voices for a new Nancy Drew game, and gave us a brief introduction.

First, the voice actors of Ned Nickerson, Hardy Boys and Carson Drew are taking part in the voice acting of the new game. Unfortunately, there’s no information will they be real characters or phone friends.

We were also introduced with the first game character — Radek. This is a Slavic name of Czech origin, and according to some theories, Prague can became a new Nancy’s destination to solve the case.

At the end of the video, Brittany once again congratulated Nancy Drew with her birthday and said that we will soon know more about new #ND34 characters.

A video with a small fragment of the gameplay was released on the HeR Interactive YouTube channel. We were shown how Nancy photographs Prague with a cool camera and how the universal tool of every detective rescues her — invisible hair.

Since mid-August, key employees of the marketing department, to whom we should be grateful for such an intriguing announcement of the future game about Nancy, began to release videos with answers to fan questions that could be asked to the team in @nancydrewpcgames profile stories.

In the second part, Roo, Brighella and Indy answered various questions. For example, they relate more to "Team Frank" or "Team Ned." Most were for "Team Ned," but not the @nancydrewglobal team! Fans also asked if HeR team played Nancy games together. The answer is yes, including testing of the game Mystery of the Seven Keys. The HeR Interactive team also discussed their favorite games among new and old.

New Facts and Weekend Puzzle in ASB

The first video after the weekend on the HeR YouTube channel was the announcement of the return of good and bad news on the second chance screen. The one when Nancy makes a mistake. Here, for example, from Shadow at the Water's Edge:

The second part of the answer to the last puzzle of the weekend was a video from Indy, where she answers the question of one of the fans: "Would you ever want to get your own cameo^* in Nancy Drew games?"

The author of the question got absolutely to the point, because in the Mystery of the Seven Keys game Indy WILL really have her own small cameo in the cafe, where she will order coffee from Nancy.

By the way, this is not the first time in HeR Interactive that the team inserts references to itself into games. For example, in the The Silent Spy game at Ten Raven Pub you can hear songs that the company's employees sang at one of the teambuildings 💃🏼

Leave No Stone Unturned

The last part of the answer to the Weekend Puzzle was a bonus video from Indy. In the video, she noted how quickly Clue Crew is coming out to solve puzzles with messages from posts before Nancy's birthday. This includes how carefully players looked at the environment and found details such as candles or books in the background.

Indy praised that the players noticed that in one of the photos in the visible area there are books from the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series under numbers 8 and 3. Together they give the number 83 - this is the number of the book that formed the basis of the future Mystery of the Seven Keys game.

We are talking about The Case of the Vanishing Veil book, in which during Nancy's presence at the wedding in Boston, she faces the breakdown of the celebration, as the thief stole the bride's old lace veil. Nancy, Bess and George have to walk from the Cape Cod mansion to the Witchcraft Museum in Salem along the path of intrigue and deception. In the book, they will have to reveal the shocking story of the wedding day draw and the mystery of the disappearing veil worth $60 million.
